Your Opinion: Halftime 'entertainment'

Dear Editor:

My wife and I watched most of the Super Bowl. I made myself scarce during the halftime "entertainment." She watched some of it. From her description of the clothing, or lack thereof, worn by the "entertainers" the continued devolution of U.S. society was apparent.

Forty-plus years ago, I attended several burlesque shows. Based on my wife's description of the clothing worn by the entertainers, the strippers I watched during those shows revealed about the same amount of skin as she saw during a prime time nationally televised event.

If we still have a nation in 40 years, will the halftime entertainment include live sex acts, or will it be even worse?
