Dear Editor:

From the day Trump was duly elected three years ago and before he was inaugurated, the calls for impeachment were beginning and have never stopped. Now the House of Representatives is holding hearings to decide if articles of impeachment should be voted on. This is all happening when we are less than one year away from the election for our next president. And in the meantime, nothing is to get done regarding the country's business that needs to be done now.

All this is the result of the large divide in our country caused in large part by the hate for our president. Yes he is a different person in the White House, coming from the business world instead of the political world and wants results that will be good for our country and all of us. The economy is one those things and he has worked hard on, with good results and getting better. Yes, he makes mistakes and does and says things that make some of us think are off the wall. That is just the way he operated in his business world, which was very successful. If you do not like him or his actions, that is your choice. I hope you might agree that it would be better to let the voters to make the decision next November on what happens to President Trump rather than the spending another year on the impeachment trail and a do-nothing Congress. And more important, see the bitter divide in our country become even more dangerous.
