Hy-Vee is to host a free COVID-19 vaccination clinic Thursday at the Missouri Capitol.
The clinic is to occur 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Walk-ins will be welcome.
People can schedule an appointment at www.hy-vee.com/my-pharmacy/vaccine-consent?event=aed19b4a-9baf-4dd0-a704-b6c0f388b19b.
The clinic will use the Pfizer vaccine, which requires a booster dose after three weeks.
Vaccine recipients may receive their second dose at any Hy-Vee pharmacy.
People who received COVID-19 vaccinations with Hy-Vee between June 1 and Nov. 1 are eligible to receive a free $10 gift card.
Minors must have a parent's or guardian's consent to receive the vaccine.
It is recommended vaccine recipients bring an insurance card if they have insurance. And it is recommended that Medicare recipients should bring a Medicare Part B red, white and blue card.
Bring a photo ID card, if one is available.
If individuals do not have insurance, they may still be vaccinated.
