Patrol says 1 man killed in 2-vehicle crash in Bridgeton

BRIDGETON, Mo. (AP) - A man has died in a two-vehicle crash in Bridgeton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

The crash happened Monday afternoon on North Lindbergh Boulevard when a southbound sedan attempted to switch lanes and hit the back of a vehicle being towed by a southbound tractor-trailer, the patrol said.

Investigators said a passenger in the car, 46-year-old Marvin Wyatt of St. Louis, was taken to a hospital, where he died. He had not been wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, investigators said.

The drivers of the car and semi were not injured, the patrol said.
