Police have identified two people killed last week in a hit-and-run crash in north St. Louis.

The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday at an intersection near Interstate 70 when a driver ran a stop sign, police said. Investigators have said that car collided with another driven by Maurice Norman, 35, who died at the scene. Norman's passenger, 33-year-old Erica Finger, later died at a hospital.

The driver of the car that ran the stop sign fled from the scene on foot, police said. Officials have not identified who that driver might be or announced any arrests in the case.
