KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Police have identified a man found fatally shot in a fast-food restaurant parking lot in the Hickman Mills neighborhood on the south side of Kansas City.
Officers were called to a McDonald's parking lot around 11 a.m. Monday and found Rickey Arrington, 35, inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds, police said in a news release. Arrington was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police had not announced an arrest by Wednesday morning, but say detectives have identified a person of interest in this case.
