Man charged in shooting that killed 2 people in Ferguson

FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) - A St. Louis man is now charged in a shooting in Ferguson that killed two people.

Authorities on Monday announced that 21-year-old Jajuan Foster was charged with two counts each of first-degree murder, armed criminal action and evidence tampering. He is jailed without bond.

Police say Corzelius Kent and Articia Johnson were killed in the shooting on Nov. 9 at the Canfield Green Apartments. Police have released no additional information about the shooting, including a possible motive.

The street that runs by the apartment complex is where Michael Brown was fatally shot by a Ferguson police officer in 2014. The shooting of the Black 18-year-old by a white officer touched off months of unrest.

Foster's attorney did not immediately return a phone message on Tuesday.
