Death of Lincoln University student under investigation

The death of a Lincoln University student is under investigation.

Dominik Dudley-Moore, a resident of Dawson Hall, died in his on-campus residence, the Lincoln University Police Department said in a release Sunday night.

"While no foul play is suspected, this tragic incident is under investigation by the Lincoln University Police Department," the statement said.

School officials said Dudley-Moore had the goal of becoming a high school athletic director. He was elected to represent his classmates as Mr. Freshman on the Royal Court.

Counseling services will be available this week at Thompkins Health Center for students, faculty and staff by calling 573-681-5476.

Faculty and staff are also encouraged to utilize the University's Employee Assistance Program for external counseling options.
