California woman injured in Moniteau County wreck

One person was hurt in a two vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in Moniteau County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred at 12:15 p.m. on eastbound U.S. 50, just west of Wieneke Branch.

Bethany Patten, 54, of New Bloomfield, and Mary Hoellering, 56, of California, were both going east on 50 with Patten traveling behind Hoellering.

Hoellering was going slow behind farm equipment and Patten failed to see this. She ran into the rear of Hoellering's vehicle. Hoellering began to skid and slide and went off the right side of the road before stopping.

Patten had no reported injuries, but Hollering was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City for treatment of moderate injuries.
