RACS to host domestic violence panel discussion

Rape and Abuse Crisis Service will host a panel discussion about domestic violence.

The awareness-raising event will be noon-2 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Missouri Soybean Association building, 734 S. Country Club Drive.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Attendees will learn about RACS and domestic violence. Panelists will be available to answer questions.

Panelists are to include: Angela Hirsch, RACS executive director; Gwendolyn Jennings, RACS director of shelter services; Rhonda Hazen, RACS victim advocate; and Amanda Grellner, Osage County prosecuting attorney.

The event is free, but seating is limited. Tickets are available at racsjc.networkforgood.com/events/31552-racs-awareness-event.
