Jamestown man accused of domestic assault

A Jamestown man has been charged with domestic assault in Moniteau County.

According to a Moniteau County Sheriff's Department probable cause statement, deputies were dispatched Oct. 18 to a reported physical domestic incident in Jamestown. A woman told deputies an altercation had occurred over missing money and marijuana. Deputies identified the suspect as Nathaniele Squires, 25, who had left the scene before deputies arrived.

Later that same day, deputies located Squires in Cole County where he was arrested and transferred back to Moniteau County.

Squires was found to be on probation/parole for possession of a controlled substance and was out on bond for second-degree domestic assault incident on Oct. 2. He was charged with third-degree domestic assault for the Oct. 18 incident.
