Mid-Missouri could see light snow Tuesday night.
The National Weather Service in St. Louis forecasts light snow developing late Tuesday night over western Missouri and spreading east across the region, tapering off by mid-afternoon Wednesday.
Forecasters expect no more than an inch of snow to accumulate in the Jefferson City area.
The NWS notes the hazard risk in the area is limited, although accumulating snow could cause travel difficulties. Motorists should plan for a slower-than-normal trip and be especially alert when approaching bridges, overpasses and curves, the NWS advises.
