A Jefferson City man faces two counts of delivery of controlled substance after authorities served a narcotics search warrant Friday morning.

Jerome Spinks, 31, was being held in the Cole County Jail without bond as of Friday afternoon.

The warrant was served around 9 a.m. in the 2100 block of Red Oak Drive, according to a Jefferson City Police Department probable cause statement.

Authorities claim they found several items in Spinks’ bedroom related to narcotics distribution, and in a shoebox they reportedly found nearly $2,800 in cash.

Drugs allegedly found included 1.3 grams of crack cocaine packaged for redistribution, 31.3 grams of ecstasy tablets and a digital scale. Another digital scale was found in the kitchen.
