Gerbes announced Friday it has received a limited supply of the COVID-19 vaccine via the Federal Retail Pharmacy Partnership and will begin administering the vaccine in its six Gerbes pharmacies in Missouri.
Gerbes locations currently administering the vaccine include:
Super Gerbes on North Schotthill Woods Drive and West End Gerbes on West Truman Boulevard in Jefferson City
Eldon Gerbes of East North Street
In a news release, Robert Tomasu, Gerbes health and wellness director, said, "We are strongly encouraging all customers and associates to receive whichever vaccine is available to them at the earliest time of eligibility to curb the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, and we'll do all we can to ensure they have access. In addition, we have recently announced a one-time payment of $100 to all Gerbes associates who receive the full dose."
