Two candidates win South Callaway seats with same vote totals

MOKANE, Mo. - Two of the four candidates seeking seats on the South Callaway School Board pulled in the same number of votes and won the positions.

Caleb Bartley and Micah Benningfield each received 133 votes or 33.76 percent of the vote. Brent Woods received 73 votes; Jamey Martin received 53 votes.

"It feels good - it's something I really enjoy and look forward to," said Benningfield, who will be serving a third term. "We've made some good improvements in the district, and I look forward to continuing my relationship with the other six board members and the superintendent."
