The annual Midwest March for Life will occur April 14 outside the Missouri Capitol.
Using the theme "Together Strong: Life Unites, Hold the Line," hundreds will gather on the South Lawn (facing High Street).
Organizers will set up more than 30 exhibits, beginning about 7:45 a.m., and a Capitol Prayer Walk is to begin at 8 a.m.
Father Anthony Viviano will lead the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet on the south steps of the building. The pre-rally begins at 9:15 a.m. Speakers will include: Viviano; Monsignor Robert Kurwicki, Missouri House of Representatives chaplain; Brian Westbrook, with Coalition for Life St. Louis; Angela Copenhaver, with WeTeachThink; Lisa Rowe, with Support After Abortion; Catherine Glenn Foster; and Bridget VanMeans.
The march through Jefferson City streets will begin at 10 a.m.
The 11 a.m. rally features speakers Reagan Barkledge; Eric Scheidler; Susan Klein; Michael New; Jeanne Mancini; John Yates, of the Missouri Baptist Convention; and Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft.
A fundraiser luncheon will follow after the rally.
Post-rally events include "presentations on pro-life apologetics," a youth rally and a one-act play called "Viable."
