Miller County reports 2 more COVID-19 deaths

Miller County reported two additional deaths related to COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the county's total since the pandemic began to 26.

The Miller County Health Center noted in a news release that no further information would be released about those who died.

Miller County has confirmed a total of 1,074 cases of COVID-19 among residents since March, with 128 remaining active and 920 patients who have recovered. Fourteen Miller County COVID-19 patients are currently hospitalized.

Of the 26 who have died, 17 were residents of long-term care facilities, according to the Health Center.

Symptoms of COVID-19 may include fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
