The Jefferson City Area Board of Realtors will hold its 18th annual Realtors & Friends Keep the Home Fires Burning Chili Supper benefiting the Samaritan Center next week.
A drive-thru chili meal will be available from 4-7:30 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Eagles Club, 1411 Missouri Blvd. in Jefferson City.
Tickets cost $8 and are available from any Realtor and at the Jefferson City Area Board of Realtors Office at 1906 Bubba Lane.
The dinner's proceeds help the Samaritan Center, a non-denominational interfaith support agency serving the Mid-Missouri area, provide utility assistance.
The annual fundraiser has raised nearly $85,000 for the Samaritan Center over the past 17 years, according to a news release from the Jefferson City Area Board of Realtors.
In addition to the chili supper, a canned food drive and raffle also are being held. Raffle tickets can be purchased online at thelanding.missourirealtor.org/jcabor/consumer-resources/keep-home-fires-burning.
Non-perishable food donations will be accepted at the drive-thru meal.
