About 500 people drove all around the state Saturday with flags and signs on their cars in support of President Donald Trump.

Participants traveled from all corners of Missouri and ended in Jefferson City for a nationwide event organized by MAGA Drag the Interstate, a grassroots organization that promotes conservative values and candidates and "seeks to revive patriotism," according to a news release from the organization.

The organizers rented a venue in Jefferson City where there was a barbecue with a DJ and vendors selling Trump merchandise.

MAGA Drag the Interstate organized this event for all 50 states. This was the second run of the event, which started in September.

Organizers have been working to grow the event since August, according to the news release. In the last two months, the organization has seen significant growth. Many organizations have partnered with the group such as WalkAway, Bikers for Trump Boots on the Ground and Women for Trump.
