Farm Bureau drive raises more than $41,000 for Feeding Missouri

Missouri Farm Bureau Insurance employees across the state collected food donations throughout April for distribution at one of the more than 1,500 Feeding Missouri agencies in their communities.

The statewide Home Run Against Hunger food drive wrapped up at the beginning of May with a total of 3,357.75 pounds, or more than 1.5 tons, of non-perishable food items and $41,510 in donations, according to a news release.

The combined total equates to more than 415,000 meals for Missourians in a food-insecure situation.
