The Council for Drug Free Youth will host free screenings of "Heroin(e)" and "Not My Child" Tuesday night.
The screenings begin at 6 p.m. at Capitol City Cinema, 126 E. High St. in Jefferson City.
"Heroin(e)," a 39-minute documentary, focuses on the effects of the heroin epidemic in Huntington, West Virginia, and how the community uses naloxone to treat overdose victims.
"Not My Child" is a documentary intended to help families understand substance use and recovery. The film is intended to help families feel more equipped to address substance use in their children and foster open conversations.
