Landmark Church in Jefferson City will hold a Back-to-School Block Party from noon-2 p.m. Sunday, open to the community.
The church will give away 50 free backpacks filled with school supplies, clothes, household items and more.
The event also will include a free lunch and children's activities including music and balloon animals.
The backpacks will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. The church's donation will be open during the event.
Safety protocols will be followed during the event, according to the church.
Landmark Church is located at 208 Metro Drive in Jefferson City.
