The Missouri State Library has awarded Missouri River Regional Library a grant intended to help it respond to health and safety concerns created by COVID-19.

The grant will be used to pay for and install a 23-unit remote, multipurpose locker system along a wall in Capital Mall, on the west end of Jefferson City. The system will create a convenient, contactless delivery option for Cole County.

The Missouri State Library has awarded $960,338 in coronavirus relief funds to 60 libraries. The projects were supported by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services, according to a news release from the Missouri Secretary of State's Office.
