HOLTS SUMMIT, Mo. — Two men were arrested Sunday in connection with the theft of a construction trailer, according to the Holts Summit Police Department.

The trailer and some of its contents are still missing, and the Police Department is looking for leads, according to a news release. Police have not yet released the arrested men's names.

Police received a theft report Sunday morning after a trailer belong to L&S Renovations and Property Management went missing from the area of Hickory Lane and State Road.

While investigating the report, police identified and arrested one man believed to be connected with the theft. Further information led to law enforcement obtaining a search warrant for an address in the 800 block of Vine Street in Fulton.

Officers from the Fulton Police Department and Callaway County Sheriff's Office joined Holts Summit officers in searching the property. They located items identified as having been in the stolen trailer and arrested a second man, according to the Holts Summit police report.

The investigation is ongoing.

The missing trailer is a white pull-behind box trailer labelled "L&S Renovations and Property Management LLC" in red letters. The Holts Summit Police Department is requesting anyone with information contact the Holts Summit Police Department at 573-896-4911 or Callaway County Crime Stoppers at 573-592-2474.
