Osage County library to close for move

The sign is up.

The carpet is down.

Missouri River Regional Library's new Osage County branch at 101 Route CC in Linn is opening soon.

But first the existing Osage County branch has to close for a move.

The branch will be closed Monday through March 8, according to an MRRL news release.

During the closure, patrons are asked to take advantage of the Bookmobile, which will continue its regular schedule (at mrrl.org/services/bookmobile) but will also have two special stops at the Linn City Pool parking lot, 1200 E. Main St.

The extra stops are scheduled 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. March 2.

Materials may be returned to any book drop or at the main library at 214 Adams St. in Jefferson City. The book drop locations are listed at at mrrl.org/hours-locations.

Once the new Osage County location is open, hours will be 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays.
