A two-vehicle collision in Osage County on Friday caused the death of one 15-year-old and serious injuries to another 15-year-old.
Missouri Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred at 1:35 p.m. on County Road 413 west of Route A.
The 15-year-old driver of one vehicle crossed the center of the road and struck the second vehicle, driven by 17-year-old Caleb Bruns, before overturning.
The 15-year-old driver was transported to the hospital with serious injuries while his 15-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. The passenger was not.
No injuries were reported for Bruns.
This is Troop F's second fatality for the month of August and the 48th in 2020.
