Koeppen wins Circuit 26 Division 3 judge primary

In the three-way race for the Circuit 26, Division 3, judge primary, sitting Camden County Associate Circuit Judge Aaron Koeppen has emerged the victor.

Koeppen earned 52.638 percent of the vote - 13,020 votes in total.

Koeppen's opponents, attorney Jeffrey Green, and trial attorney and judge Richelle Christensen Grosvenor, earned 30.204 percent and 17.158 percent of the vote, respectively.

Prior to the election, Koeppen said upholding and defending the Constitution is the most important issue for him as a judge, as it is the greatest defense we have to the infringement of our rights.

As there are no Democrat candidates on the Nov. 3 general election ballot, Koeppen will run unopposed to fill the seat vacated due to the retirement of Judge Peggy Richardson.

The 26th Judicial Circuit includes Camden, Miller, Morgan, Moniteau and Laclede counties.
