Jefferson City man injured in Dix Road car wreck

A Jefferson City man sustained minor injuries in a car wreck Friday morning on Dix Road.

John Hotz, 52, of Jefferson City, was stopped at a red light at the intersection of Dix Road and U.S. 50 when a southbound 2007 Ford Mustang, driven by Crystal Hale, 47, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, rear ended Hotz's 2019 Ford F150, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol report.

Hotz was transported by EMS to Capital Region Medical Center. He was wearing a seat belt.

Hale was also wearing a seat belt.

A New Bloomfield woman suffered moderate injuries following a separate car wreck Friday in Callaway County.

Doseanna Ridnour, 54, of New Bloomfield, was driving northbound on Old 54 and stopped to turn onto Hunter Lane. A northbound 2009 Ford Escape, driven by Trisha Bushur, 22, of Fenton, failed to slow down and rear ended Ridnour's 2017 Chevrolet Trax.

Ridnour was wearing a seat belt and transported by EMS to SSM St. Mary's Hospital.

Bushur was also wearing a seat belt.
