The Council for Drug Free Youth Ice Cream Social is Monday.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. in Room 110 inside Capital Mall, 3600 Country Club Drive.

Students with the council's UPLIFT, Show Me Players and Safety Kids programs are scheduled to perform songs and skits they have learned this summer.

The event will also feature the debut of the council's Mega Brain - an inflatable walkthrough brain exhibit.

The social will feature ice cream, of course, but also hot dogs, chips and soft drinks.

Admission is $5 at the door or online at jccdfy.org/events. Raffle tickets will be available for $1.
