The 200 block of Adams Street in Jefferson City will be closed to through traffic beginning Thursday.
Missouri American Water and Stockman Construction will be working on a water line replacement in the area.
Adams Street will be closed to through traffic between High Street and Capitol Avenue.
When work impacts the intersection of High and Adams streets, the contractor will maintain traffic on High Street by use of flagging operations. However, drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes if possible.
