story.lead_photo.caption Julie Smith/News Tribune Elementary students at St. Joseph Cathedral School pose for a group photograph as they at the conclusion of the school's Halloween costume parade in the school's gymnasium and stage. Each grade took to the stage to show their costumes, all to applause by fellow students, parents and grandparents. Many of the costumes are homemade and are inventive, creative and original. Numerous purchased ones have added pieces to make it unique to the child. After the parade of costumes, students went to the undercroft for the school's mission party.

It may have been cold, but that didn't stop the Capital City from celebrating Halloween on Thursday.
