MILLERSBURG - Deputies arrested two Columbia men last weekend, one after a foot chase.

A Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputy was proactively patrolling the area of County Road 340, near Millersburg, at 9:21 p.m. Friday. During the patrol, the deputy stopped a vehicle driven by Timothy Moore, 44, of Columbia, for traffic violations.

A vehicle passenger, identified as Malik Cobb, 22, of Columbia, exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Numerous other deputies, assisted by Missouri Highway Patrol troopers, responded to the area to assist. Cobb was subsequently apprehended after a physical struggle with deputies.

Moore was arrested for Driving while revoked-prior offender and transported to the Callaway County Jail. Moore remains in custody on $500 bond.

Cobb was arrested for resisting arrest and transported to the Callaway County Jail. Cobb remains in custody on $1,000 bond.
