The Jefferson City Area Board of Realtors celebrated its 75th anniversary June 9 with a Realtor family fun day at Apple Creek Farm.
The board was chartered by the National Association of Realtors on June 9, 1944. Over the years, the board has seen many changes to the real estate industry. Elizabeth Mendenhall, past president of the National Association of Realtors, was a guest presenter.
Sen. Mike Bernskoetter, R-Jefferson City, presented 2019 Board President Stephanie Biggs with a Senate proclamation recognizing the anniversary.
