Two Mid-Missouri men were injured in a crash early Thursday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred at 2:40 a.m. on Country Club Drive just north of Business 50 West.

Joey T. Hampton, 34, of Jefferson City, was driving a vehicle westbound when it traveled off the right side of roadway, struck a concrete wall and overturned.

He and a passenger, Isaiah E. Laws, 28, of Macks Creek, received moderate injuries, the patrol said. Hampton was transported by air ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia, while ground ambulance transported Laws there.

Neither man was wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.
