A Fulton teenager was injured Saturday night when the car he was driving crashed in Callaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the 16-year-old male, whose name was withheld because he is a juvenile, was driving eastbound on Route E one mile east of Hatton at 8:25 p.m. when his car slid off the left side of the road, struck a culvert and overturned.

He was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of moderate injuries, the patrol said. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck.
