News Tribune to debut website redesign Thursday

The Jefferson City News Tribune will debut a redesigned website tomorrow that presents our award-winning news, features, columns and multimedia in a new format that is responsive to the type of device you use.

The transformed website has been built based on reader feedback, and we're committed to more enhancements in the days, weeks and months ahead.

Improvements you'll see so far include:

Faster load times and a cleaner look.

A responsive layout that looks great no matter if you're on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop.

A restructured homepage that emphasizes Jefferson City area news and the latest breaking news.

Simplified navigation that makes it easier to access the e-Edition or digital replica edition of today's newspaper, as well as any of our dozens of other popular sections.

Larger photos and videos, and beautiful new galleries.

Story pages with bigger text, tools for sharing on Facebook and Twitter, and clear pathways to reading and viewing related content.

While today's launch is the culmination of months of preparation, it's also just the beginning of our journey. We will continue to invest our resources in making NewsTribune.com the top destination for news in the Capital City and Mid-Missouri.

We hope you enjoy the new look and thank you for supporting our important mission.

As always, we welcome your feedback. You may send your thoughts to [email protected].
