At least 40 microbreweries - including purveyors of beers, wines, ciders and even mead - shared their wares at Saturday's Morels and Microbrews festival in Fulton.
Theresa and John Hogg, of Boonville, were among those enjoying fried morel mushrooms. "This right here was worth the trip," John Hogg said.
Hundreds of pounds of morels, in soup, fried and fresh, were sold during the festival. In addition, booths offered other tasty treats and morel-related arts and crafts. Sunny skies and breezy temperatures drew huge crowds to the annual event.
