3 Miller County crashes injure 3 people Sunday

Three people were injured Sunday following three separate vehicle wrecks in Miller County.

Colin Driscoll, 30, of Eldon, attempted to perform a stunt with his Herchee ATV while traveling southbound at 18 Sandstone Road. He lost control and the vehicle overturned, according to Missouri Highway Patrol reports.

Driscoll was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt.

Driscoll was arrested after the wreck on a felony warrant from Kansas.

In a separate crash, Wade Kasper, 39, of Crocker, was driving northbound at 127 Ozark Trail Road when his 2014 Polaris ATV overturned after he tried to cross a steep creek crossing. The vehicle came to a rest on top of Kasper, according to the Highway Patrol report.

He was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt.

In a third Miller County vehicle crash, Rona Bern, 58, of Columbia, was stopped at a stop sign on Missouri 134. She attempted to turn eastbound onto Missouri 42 but failed to yield to traffic, according to Highway Patrol reports. Her 2007 Honda Accord struck an eastbound 2013 Chrysler Van, driven by Daniel Bax, 70, of St. Elizabeth.

Occupant Doris Bax, 67, of St. Elizabeth, was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.

The Baxes and Bern were wearing seat belts.
