Photo Gallery: Bands vie for Battle 4 the Badges title

The Battle 4 the Badges music competition began March 3 at The Bridge in Jefferson City.

Three bands per week competed for the best performance of the night and the chance to play in the final round, which will take place March 31.

The event was organized by Safety Net, which provides financial assistance to families of first responders who were lost in the line of duty.

Preliminary competitions featuring three different bands each took place each Saturday through March 24. The four preliminary finalists will face off in the last competition March 31, with one band claiming the 2018 Bands Battle for the Badges championship title.
