Cole County 4-H kicked off the Jefferson City Jaycees Cole County Fair season Saturday, July 21, 2018, hosting several competitions including two fashion competitions and fair royalty interviews, as well as several shooting competitions, including archery, muzzle loading, shotgun and air pistol sports matches.

The fair is scheduled to run July 30 through Aug. 4.
