The News Tribune hosted candidate forums Thursday night featuring candidates running for party nominations in Missouri House District 60 and Senate District 6 in the Aug. 7 primary.
Three individual panels fielded questions at Jefferson City Hall. One featured Democratic candidates for Missouri Senate District 6: Bryan Struebig, Nicole Thompson and Mollie Freebairn.
A second forum featured Democratic candidates for Missouri House District 60: Kevin Nelson and Sara Michael.
A third forum featured the Republican candidates in Missouri House District 60: Jane Beetem, Pat Rowe Kerr and Dave Griffith.
The 60th House District covers most of Jefferson City. The 6th Senate District covers all of the counties of Cole, Gasconade, Osage, Maries, Miller and Moniteau.
