Callaway County Chamber of Commerce still has room for vendors at next week's 2017 Business EXPO/Job Fair.

"We have 25 businesses signed up so far," said Tamara Fitzpatrick, executive director of the Chamber. "We're pushing for 30."

The event — free and open to the public — is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday at Westminster College's Mueller Hall. Job seekers can pick up applications and learn about available jobs in Callaway County.

"We'll have students from the high school, William Woods University and Westminster College," Fitzpatrick added of those people specially invited. "I'm hoping for a steady flow of people this year."

Fulton city officials will be available to discuss current openings, which include police department receptionist, fire chief, youth umpires and more.

Companies expected to have booths at the event include Crisket Wireless-Gateway, H&R Block, Danuser Machine and Callaway Electric Coop. SSM Health St. Mary's, Fulton Presbyterian Manor and others also will participate.
