Grab your mom and your running shoes and head to the North Jefferson City Recreation Center Pavilion for the Mother's Day 5K Run/Walk on Saturday morning to benefit the Community Breast Care Project.
The entry fee is $25 with registration at 8 a.m. and the race to begin at 9 a.m.
Awards will be given to the overall walker/runner as well as to other top finishers. Refreshments will be provided during and after the race, and social distancing is encouraged.
The Community Breast Care Project is a nonprofit organization that gives financial aid to women and men recently diagnosed with breast cancer in Central Missouri. The project relies on the support of individuals and corporations to provide free programs and services to individuals with breast cancer and promote breast care in the community.
