Harry Potter fans may want to consider heading downtown Saturday night.
The Downtown Jefferson City Association is hosting a Crawl to Hogwarts this weekend, with participants encouraged to dress up as their favorite wizard, professor or muggle and complete a scavenger hunt punch card.
Participants can check in at the Shrunken Head Mobile Bar, which will be set up 6-8 p.m. Saturday at 205 E. High St. The event is free and registration is not required; however, it is encouraged that those planning to participate check in to receive a punch card and directions. Participating locations include Shrunken Head Mobile Bar, CORK & Board, Bones in the Alley, Gumbo Bottoms, Big Whiskey's American Restaurant & Bar, The Office Bar, BarVino, Spectators and J. Pfenny's.
Prizes, including gift cards to participating locations, will be awarded for completed scavenger hunt punch cards and participating bars will be offering drink specials. Participants also are encouraged to post pictures on Instagram with #crawltohogwartsJCMO.
