After a year of construction, the new Mid America Bank in Jefferson City is now open.
The 25,000-square-foot Mid America Bank branch at 1200 West Stadium Blvd. opened last week.
It features a banking lobby and administrative offices on the first floor and corporate offices on the second floor. There are also drive-thru teller windows, a drive-up ATM and a night depository.
"Opening our Jefferson City location is a dream come true for our entire team after many years of planning and hard work," Mid America Bank President and CEO Mark Luebbert said in a news release. "Excitement for the new location is shared by all Mid America Bank associates. We also know our customers are excited for the addition of this new convenient location."
This is the sixth Mid America Bank location in Mid-Missouri. The other locations are in Wardsville, Meta, Linn, Holts Summit and Belle.
There will be a public grand opening event Oct. 16-17. From 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Oct. 16, there will be food trucks in the bank's parking lot. Starting at 9 a.m. Oct. 17, the bank will have a Family Fun Day that will include batting cages, craft tables and a live eagle presentation from the Dickerson Park Zoo.
For every visitor who stops by the grand opening event, Mid America Bank will donate $10 to the Special Learning Center.
