Maurices will move a few doors down into a different portion of Jefferson City's Wildwood Crossings shopping complex later this year.
Pier 1 Imports was located at 3535 Missouri Blvd. Suite 107 until it closed earlier this year.
The former Pier 1 Imports space will be split into two tenant spaces, suites 107 and 109, according to a Jefferson City building permit.
Maurices will relocate from 3535 Missouri Blvd. Suite 131 to Suite 109, according to another city building permit.
Maurices spokesperson Sue Ross confirmed the business will relocate to a space between Old Navy and Ulta Beauty in Wildwood Crossings.
Maurices is set to reopen in the new location Oct. 31, Ross said.
The new location will be about 5,500 square feet, she said, a jump from the 4,700-square-foot space Maurices is currently located in.
The clothes, shoes and accessories at the new location will "continue to mirror the same great products we carry," Ross added.
Maurices is relocating to the new space because a new tenant is slated to move into the store's former location, she said.
"The (landlord) has a tenant that will take our old space and adjacent vacant spaces," Ross said. "They needed our space to make that deal."
