Missouri Valley Archery and Outdoors closed its doors late last month.

Located at 2436 Missouri Blvd. in Jefferson City, the last day the business was open was Oct. 24, according to a post on its Facebook page.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, it is with a very heavy heart that we are announcing that we are closing our doors," the Facebook post states.

The post notes the Missouri Valley Archery and Outdoors website, movalleyarchery.com, will be open "until all of our inventory is gone." As of Thursday afternoon, the website stated, "We are temporarily down as we transition."

The Facebook post notes Missouri Valley Archery and Outdoors will no longer be accepting bows, crossbows or arrows for maintenance.

Missouri Valley Archery and Outdoors' owners did not return the News Tribune's request for comment.

Shannan and Callie Garrett-Cooper purchased Missouri Valley Archery and Outdoors from Roger and Margie Haslag in late 2018, reopening the business in March 2019.

Roger Haslag currently owns 2436 Missouri Blvd. and confirmed last week that the property is for sale.
