Health retailer GNC closed its doors at Jefferson City's Capital Mall earlier this month.
Donna Vail, general manager of Capital Mall, confirmed GNC opted not to renew its lease, which expired Jan. 13.
The store closure at Capital Mall comes months after the corporation announced it would close up to 900 stores, mostly in malls, according to Forbes.
