BizBeat: JCMG buildings get new landlord as part of $56M sale-leaseback

There is a new landlord for the Jefferson City Medical Group buildings, but that shouldn't impact patient care, a JCMG official said.

MB Real Estate Advisors, a private real estate investor, bought JCMG's portfolio, consisting of two medical office buildings at 1241 and 1225 W. Stadium Blvd., for $56.1 million, according to a recent news release. The two medical offices totaled 184,181 square feet.

"It was a non-event for JCMG and has absolutely no impact on operations, staffing, or patient care provided to Mid-Missouri," said Jamie Patterson, vice president of marketing and business development at JCMG.

JCMG previously leased the two buildings from four separate entities, Patterson said.

JCMG has leased the buildings since they were built in 1998, she added.
