Music industry career carried Kaiser from Missouri to coasts

Sam Kaiser became involved in radio in the early 1970s after graduation from a high school in St. Louis. He later worked for KSHE before being hired by Atlantic Records. In 1986, he became the head of music programming of MTV and after briefly working for the Enigma record label, formed his own artist management company, MVP Entertainment.

Sam Kaiser was bitten by the music bug while growing up in St. Louis in the late 1960s, listening to album-oriented rock on local stations and developing an interest in the radio industry.
